Welcome to the Elementary Ministry at FBCO!
Every child is a unique creation of God, having different temperaments, abilities, and interests. Elementary students are growing and changing so fast! They are gaining and honing skills at a remarkable rate, and their rate of development varies significantly. Research teaches us that these students are unusually open to spiritual matters, and that values and morals are likely formed by the age of thirteen. The elementary ministry of FBCO is intentionally structured to maximize the potential for faith development during these crucial years. At the same time, KidsLife ministry recognizes and addresses the unique social and emotional needs of elementary students and provides opportunities for building strong peer friendships and adult mentoring relationships.
Leaders are thoroughly screened and well-trained to provide the safest and most productive experience for your student. The over-all teaching ministry concentrates on increasing biblical knowledge, encouraging life application, challenging cultural norms, promoting relationships, and prompting mission involvement.
