New Believer's Class
Children are concrete thinkers and often struggle to understand the abstract concepts of faith. The New Believer's class is designed to help children who have begun to ask questions about baptism or what it means to become a Christian. The series of six classes are offered two to three times a year on Sunday evening, and is best suited for children who read well. Information about the next class will be posted under the events section of the website, or you may contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Kids Kamp is an overnight adventure for children who have completed first through sixth grade. Campers will have opportunities to learn Bible truths, develop new skills, deepen friendships, and just have fun! Campers and counselors leave the church the first Wednesday in August and return Saturday afternoon. Located one hour north of O'Fallon, Lake Williamson is a beautiful camp with excellent recreation opportunities.
Winter Worship Weekend (www.)
Winter Worship Weekend is a focused discipleship weekend for first through sixth graders. Students are assigned to small group leaders who focus on building strong relationships while teaching the basics of a chosen Christian doctrine or characteristic. Bible study, games, and sharing meals together create a dynamic experience for kids. Watch for details in the events section or email email@example.com for more information.
First Grade Bible Presentation
The first grade year marks many developmental milestones for children. They are gaining physical coordination, learning classroom rules, expanding their vocabulary, learning to read and write, and experiencing the values of people outside their home environment. Pastor Doug would like to recognize all first graders and encourage them to use their reading skills by reading the Bible. He will present a Bible to each first grader during specified weekend services in the spring. Information will be listed in the events section.
