A North Carolina native, Darlene brings experience gained through travels with an Air Force husband, Alan. Darlene earned a BA in religious studies and a BS in psychology from McKendree University. She later received both a Master of Arts and doctorate in Christian Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City. Darlene and Alan have two children and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Darlene is passionate about seeing children grow spiritually and equipping children's leaders to be effective in ministry. Darlene believes sound curriculum, relevant activity based learning, fun experiences, and caring leaders are the touch points of effective children's ministry.

Lisa Jones is the Preteen Ministry Assistant. She has worked with children of all ages for about 25 years. Lisa has a special passion for preteens. Lisa loves to spend time with her family, playing games and hanging out. She is married to Roy and has three wonderful children- Aaron, 21, Hannah, 18, and Adam, 16. Lisa hopes to make an impact on her community through sharing Christ with preteens!

Becky is new to the KidsLife Office in her role as Preschool Ministry Assistant. She brings years of teaching experience with children and adults from Church Sunday School and Bible Study Fellowship. God has given her a passion for His Word and a desire that children of all ages be taught the truth from it. Becky is married to Russ, is the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of five.

Jackie has served as an administrative assistant in the KidsLife office for eight years. Jackie is a problem-solver and is quick to handle the challenges that often arise in the flow of KidsLife ministry. Jackie is the leader of TinyKids, a discipleship program for preschoolers. Jackie is married to Mark and is the mother of one son, A.J.

Sarah beth is joining the KidsLife team in January 2013. We are very excited to have her join our team!

 

Marilyn holds a BA in management and brings ten years of classroom experience to her role as director. Marilyn is committed to providing a positive, loving and engaging day for all preschoolers while they experience active, age-appropriate learning center activities designed to develop the whole child. Marilyn is equally committed to the development of staff, equipping them to be the best teachers they can be. Marilyn is married to Rick Marshall and is the mother of two children, Matthew and Bethany. Creation Corner has become a family ministry for the entire Marshall family!
